BRHS celebrates students at awards night

Family, friends and community members gathered at Porter Memorial Gymnasium June 4 to celebrate the accomplishments of graduating students and outstanding underclassmen at the annual Boothbay Region High School awards night.  

Following the scholarship and awards presentations, the annual Junior College Book Awards were announced. In addition, over 29 local businesses, individuals and foundations sponsored this year’s Frances D. Aley Donor Book Awards. Almost 70 books were given to students, with a matching copy donated to the school library.  

A special Bleacher Award went to Peggy Splaine for her service to the school, including serving on the Community School District School Committee from 2016 to 2025.
